My client is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer, for a 1year rolling contract. Candidates must be from an AUTOMOTIVE background, and be an experienced user or either CATIA V5 OR UNIGRAPHICS (NX5/7) The Mechanical Engineers team is responsible for the development of the mechanical aspects of new design projects, build, and implementing the mechanical aspects of the project. Duties and Responsibilities: *Produce high quality Mechanical Engineering Documentation including 3D models; drawings and assemblies *Mechanical design and development of innovative new projects *Address Mechanical Design, material and part issues on Engineering Change Orders *Consideration of product fabrication methods and surface treatment, costs and general lead times. *Ensure new projects comply with the Statement of Requirements including applicable EMC and Environmental standards Desirable Skills/Experience *'Hands on' approach to mechanical engineering *CAD proficient *Knowledge of low volume manufacturing and rapid prototyping techniques Standort: West Midlands, United Kingdom Gehalt: Negotiable Ausschreibungsdatum: 21.02.2012 Referenz JSMWnur für Premium-MitgliederBITTE geben Sie diese Referenznummer an.)
